Basic way to check betta fighter still aggressive or not
If put a male and a female betta fighter together in the same jar and within 5 minutes the male doesn’t bite the female even once, it indicates that male is not aggressive. Should never be taken to a fighting in arena. That fish or any fish from the same batch.

Why do betta fighter flare at us?
